What is Invisalign?

Invisalign uses a series of removable, invisible, custom-made aligners to move your teeth. Each set of Invisalign aligners is worn for approximately 2 weeks and is then replaced by the next set of aligners. This process continues until the treatment is complete.

Am I a candidate for Invisalign?

Dr. Melling will evaluate each patient to determine if orthodontic treatment is needed. After his evaluation, he will discuss Invisalign as an alternative to standard orthodontics. He will be happy to answer any questions regarding Invisalign.

What are the advantages of Invisalign?

The Invisalign aligners are clear… virtually invisible! They are also removable. You take them out to eat and drink while you are in treatment. It is easy to keep your teeth clean as you take them out to brush and floss, too! Unlike traditional metal braces, there is less irritation with Invisalign.
